We first opened our doors on July 31, 2015 as a home furnishings store known as WOW Furnishings. We specialized in giving furniture a new life through paint and upcycling old pieces to give them a new purpose. Shortly after opening, we held one of our 5 son’s rehearsals dinners in the back space of the store. We, along with everyone else loved the space and we knew we needed to do more with this beautiful building in historic Alton. We started holding bridal and baby showers and smaller parties in the back space while expanding and renovating into the new space attached to our store. By mid year of 2017 we were holding receptions in our space and families from both Illinois and Missouri were booking their dream weddings at WOW Event Center. Fast forward 2 years and we are now holding weddings and receptions at our location with a gorgeous wedding suite with both a bride’s room and a groom’s room. (Groom’s room are important to parents of 5 sons!)

WOW on Broadway opened in May of 2018 to accommodate the showers and smaller parties that were once held at WOW Event Center. This location is also a gorgeous building and wait til you hear what we have in store for you in the upstairs area!!! Soooo excited to share this with you.
